How do I go about hiring a private investigator?
There is really nothing to it. What generally is done is that an agreement to hire is completed and signed. The agreement contains the type of service to be performed, and the costs of performing the service. In some cases our agency will accept a signed fax or signed stamped email stating that the person or business accepts our rates and wants us to perform a service for them. We then accept an up front amount to begin services. This initial amount varies from case to case (300 - 400 for common surveillance jobs & 500 - 1000 for large size cases). This initial amount is applied to the hours we work
Will the fact I hired your services be kept secret?
Burbridge Detective Agency will not release any information in regards to their clients or the work they performed for them outside the agency. Some exceptions my include, searching for a missing child, or working on a criminal or civil case where possible witnesses need to be questioned, or any other case where outside people need to be questioned to solve the case.
